Online again

Finally, kresimirpopovic.com is online again! I refreshed my website, which has been, online (more or less) since its Creation Date: 13-jun-2005. I wanted to see on it something different than my (mostly old) artworks and to be able to change it as fast as possible. That is why I use Drupal plus couple of modules and it works just fine.

The spring is coming, I recently moved to Umeå, where I am with my partner Lina and expecting our boy to be born in the beginning of July. I will put a couple of photos once he is born, until then, we are waiting patiently.

I started to grow kefir a couple of weeks ago, we got kefir grains from a nice person who sent it to us by mail for free. Something was wrong with grains since we got them, cause they are working pretty slow and the end result is kefir that is not thick at all. I tested couple of times with less amount of milk, then it worked better, but it was really sour. In the end, the working solution was to keep kefir on a bit warmer place. When I was kid, my family was making kefir regularly. It is very healthy. One thng to remember is - kefir that can be bought in stores is not the same as kefir that is made with kefir grains...

In the same time Lina is making water kefir with milk grains because we still don't have water grains. It is great, she makes it from different kinds of berries, figgs, lemon and we enjoy to drink it.
